About them: Roland, a Long Island native, came to Santa Cruz, CA in 2005 with a passion for pizza and a history of great Italian family recipes. After years of working in Farmers Markets, Ro fell in love with the abundance of fresh, organic produce and meats. Although not a green thumb himself, he adored the local ingredients and created long-lasting partnerships & friendships with Santa Cruz organic farms and farmers. He had an instinct to create a healthy product, changing the way Californians eat & think about pizza.
